Must-haves

  • experience in OO programming in PHP 7
  • strong MySQL knowledge
  • advanced understanding of object-oriented principles
  • experience in unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit
  • familiarity with Symfony3 or Laravel and required packagist/composer components 
  • strong experience in designing, implementing and consuming REST-based API resources
  • experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.)
  • experience in version control systems including GIT
  • the ability and willingness to share knowledge with the rest of the team
  • sensitivity to deadlines

Nice-to-haves

  • experience in any modern client-oriented JavaScript frameworks or libraries (Angular, React)
  • experience in web hosting and hosting technologies
  • understanding of fundamental cloud computing architectural concepts
  • knowledge regarding the basics of Agile/Scrum
  • being active within developer communities and open source projects
  • ability to provide accurate time estimates

Tasks

  • troubleshooting, testing and maintaining core product software and databases
  • developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
  • following industry best practices
  • documenting and reviewing code with the team
  • working with the team to find creative solutions that meet the requirements of our clients, partners and staff
